Into the Void is a retro-inspired casual space shooter I created in 2021 as part of GameUp Africa.
Developed with the Unity Engine, it was my entry point into game development and an experiment in building a simple but engaging arcade-style experience.

The game challenges players to dodge asteroids, face enemy ships, and survive as long as possible while racking up points.
Itโ€™s light, fun, and built for quick play sessions on mobile devices.

Current State

Into the Void captures the retro charm of classic shooters, but itโ€™s still in a rough and unpolished state.
As a first project, the focus was on learning and experimenting rather than building a fully refined game.

That said, I plan to release updates in the future to improve gameplay, visuals, and overall polish.
